Gelish Tasty Eggplant & Mauvy Mauve
I have a couple more good fall colors to share with you today. Gelish Tasty Eggplant is a unique shade of purple with a creamy finish. This color is only available in the MINI size and seems to be similar or a dupe for the color It Girl from the European Just For You collection.
Gelish Mauvy-Mauve is brighter and more pink than the manufacturer swatches that I’ve seen online. I really love this shade and wore it for several days. I was afraid that it would be a fader since many of the pink/mauve shades seem to change with exposure to the sunlight, but I didn’t notice any fading. This color is also only available in the MINI size and seems to be similar or a dupe for the color Simply Mauv-elous Dahling from the European Just For You collection.

Do you have to use a base coat and top coat when using gel polish?
It depends on the brand, but most do require a base and top coat. Some brands are coming out with one-step gels that don’t require a base and/or top coat.
