New Madam Glam Gel Polish Swatches

Madam Glam Gel Polish Swatches - by Chickettes.comMadam Glam recently released some new shades, and I have swatches of 7 of them for you today as well as 2 other colors that were previously in existence.  About a month ago I posted a full review of the Madam Glam polishes, which you can read here.  I’ve been told that it was the most I’ve gushed and raved about a product in a long time, and I’m still absolutely loving these polishes.  The quality is truly exceptional, and they all provide solid, even coverage with just two coats… even the glitters.

So let’s take a look at the new shades… and I’ll start with the shimmery finishes first.  All of these shimmers have immense depth to them, and if you look closely you can pick out different colored speckles.

Shimmer Lavender (#238) is a dark plum-like purple with a blackened base.

Madam Glam Glamorous - swatch by Chickettes.comBombshell (#162) has the exact same type of finish as Glamorous but it’s a bit more of a muted pink.  I really like the uniqueness of this shade.

Madam Glam Bombshell - swatch by Chickettes.comMilkyway (#096) is a really dynamic metallic silver shimmer.  If you look closely at this one you can see purple, blue and gold flecks.  It’s absolutely stunning in person!

Stardust (#117) is probably my favorite of the three that I have today.  It’s loaded with gold glitter and holographic hexes.  I’m actually wearing this polish right now and don’t want to take it off.  It’s to die for!

Sparkling Hearts (#325) is exactly the same except it’s pink!

Madam Glam Sparkling Hearts - swatch by Chickettes.comSandy Sparkles (#061) is also similar to the other two, except it’s a peachy orange.  I didn’t think I was going to like the way this color looked on me, but I kept it on for a while and it quickly grew on me.  This is the only polish that I applied three coats of.  It had decent coverage with two, but I just felt like one more coat would really bring it home.

Deep Sea Dream (#051) is a very dark blue with some teal undertones.  I admit that I did a little color manipulation on this photo (the nails only).  My camera kept making this shade look like a deep navy blue no matter what I did, but it absolutely has some teal-ish tones to it so I tried my best to make the color look like what I see with my eyes.

Madam Glam Deep Sea Dream - swatch by Chickettes.comVintage Blue (#310) is a lighter teal-leaning medium blue cream.  My photos of this color all looked slightly grainy, but the polish doesn’t look grainy at all in real life.

Gorgeous polishes!! Based on your and Michelle’s (Manic Talons) glowing recommendations, my order is due to arrive today!!! I am so excited!! But I have one question: Have you tried the Acrygel technique with the Madam Glam base? If so, how did it work out? Lately, Acrygel is the only method that keeps my polish on for more than a few days. Thanks in advance for your response!

Hi Sally – you’re going to LOVE these polishes. I haven’t tried acrygel with the MG base, but I love the quick soak-off times that the base provides.

I recently tried Madam Glam soak off gel, and I absolutely LOVE it! When I saw your beautiful new swatches, I wanted to order the Stardust, Sparkling Hearts, and Milkyway. However, I do not see them for sale on the Madam Glam website:( Do you know if they will be adding them soon?

All the colors are on the website now, some are “preorder” status but you can order them and they will ship when in stock. I have 7 colors and just ordered 4 more! Madam Glam gel polishes are a dream to work with and the colors are stunning, definitely my favorite brand!

I have been a long time user of at home gel polishes. I’ve tried all different brands (ibd, opi, gelish, couture, etc.) and have to say, hands down, the Madam Glam gel polishes are by far the best quality that I’ve ever used. They apply perfectly, aren’t too runny or too thick, and they all seem to have complete opacity with 2 coats, some of them just 1! (though I usually do 3 just because I like the extra layers of thickness on my nails). Thank you for reviewing them because I first saw them on your blog and I’ve now ordered about 10 different colors! My nails (but not my wallet) thank you haha! :)

I ditto exactly what Sarah said!! I have spent a fortune trying to find what works for me (mainly what will last > 3-4 days.) I have had hit and miss success even within the same brand. But Madam Glam is my home run!! Thank you Andrea for all your detailed reviews and swatches and suggestions!!

I just got my first order of Madam Glam SOG polishes and my first experience is great! I started with Bombshell (#162) and it applied so well with just two coats. The liquid is very smooth and consistent. While I do like the color of Bombshell, I think the image you shared doesn’t quite represent the final color result. It’s more of a country pink with a slightly peach overtone. I was expecting a bit more of a robust pink rather than a peachy pink. It’s still nice, though.

Have you tried the Hypnotize Me (#74)? It was very thick when I received it and I’m not sure that it will apply very well.

Thanks for your swatches and reviews! They have been so helpful in identifying colors and brands to go with.

    • Andrea says:

I’m sorry, I can’t guarantee that every swatch photo is exact. I do see that mine is a little more pink, but the Madam Glam website has several other pictures of the color so you can do some comparisons. :) I have Hypnotize Me and it applies great. It does look a little thick on the brush, but it spreads nicely.

I just returned my Hypnotize Me and Love At First Sight due to being too thick. But every other MG polish I have has performed perfectly!! Application. Wear. Soak Off. To me, Madam Glam is my holy grail of gel!!
