Gelish After Dark & Water Field
I wanted to show you what I’ve been wearing on my nails this weekend… Gelish After Dark with Water Field over top. It’s so sparkly and pretty! This was my first time trying either of these polishes. After Dark is a gorgeous dark blue. This is a color that’s been around for a while and the formula is really fantastic and so easy to apply. Blue is my favorite color and normally I lean toward teals, but I think I have a new favorite dark blue.
The photos below show one coat of Water Field over After Dark. Water Field is a topper filled with silver and holographic glitters. I was really surprised at the amount of glitter that one coat provided, it’s much more dense than some of the other toppers I’ve tried. I can’t wait to try this over some other colors!
This is two coats of After Dark.
Hi Andrea, That waterfield Topper, is it a top coat, or do you still need a normal top it off over it as well? Thanks, Mal…
It’s a clear polish with glitter in it, but you still need to use a top coat over it.
Thanks Andrea..just ordered it ;-)
Gorgeous…have to have!!
I’m french and il love your pictures, thank you very much.
To have this nice blue, you made an after night with base, and the color (after night) and the top , and a few days after you the water field and a top again?
Can I do the same mixing colors to obtain new colors than they do with shellac.
Yes, you can layer any gel polish colors and pigments to get different colors.
Does After Dark seem more liquidy to you? Mine is like that and my other gelish shades aren’t so I’m wondering if I got a dud?
It is a thinner formula
