Valentine’s Day Heart Nail Design

Happy Valentine’s to all of you a few days early! I opted for pink polish and hearts for my weekly manicure in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The light pink base color is Madam Glam Bubble Gum, and the darker pink holographic polish is Madam Glam Dangerously in Love.  Both polishes have great formulas… Dangerously in Love was opaque in just one coat, but I applied two anyway.  And photos really don’t do it justice… it has a gorgeous sparkly holo shimmer.

For the art, I did some double stamping using the UberChic Love & Marriage 01 plate.  First I stamped the little hearts on vines with a white stamping polish, and then I stamped a few individual hearts using a darker pink stamping polish from Mundo de Unas.  I used a dotting tool to add a bit of Madam Glam Dangerously in Love over top of one heart on each nail to tie the design together.

It’s cute, whimsical and festive!
