Mermaid Nail Art

I’m feeling a little fishy…  :)  I’ve been wanting to try to create mermaid nails for a while and finally picked up the perfect stamping plate, Bundle Monster XL24.  This plate has several different beach themed images, and my favorite is this fish scale pattern.

To create these nails I started off with two coats of Pink Gellac Gipsy Blue gel polish.  On top of that I applied random swipes of LeChat Showstopper (a glittery teal) and LeChat Ready For My Close-Up (a glittery dark blue-ish purple).  After curing, I wiped off the tacky layer and stamped the fish scale pattern with a white stamping polish from Mundo de Unas.

Next, I’d like to try a design that looks more like a pattern from The Rainbow Fish, with random flashy scales.  That would be pretty!
