Gelish All About the Glow Collection Swatches – Summer 2013
I am happy to tell you that the formula of these polishes is improved from some of the previous collections. They aren’t thick and I didn’t experience any wrinkling or curing issues… and I actually tried to get them to wrinkle by applying some thicker layers. I checked my swatches for fading after about 24 hours and didn’t notice any changes in the colors. My only complaint about the formula is that the colors didn’t apply as evenly as I would have liked and required three coats each for even coverage. With that said, I think they are all brilliant colors. I’ve been wearing Radiance Is My Middle Name (teal) today, and LOVE it!

Make You Blink Pink reminds me of a Barbie! It’s a super bright pink unlike any other by Gelish.
Brights Have More Fun is a darker hot pink. It’s very similar to Shake It Til You Samba, but it’s slightly lighter & brighter.
I’m Brighter Than You is a vivid coral/peach color. This one is similar to Sweet Morning Dew, but is also lighter and brighter.
Sometimes A Girl’s Gotta Glow is a brilliant lime green. I will compare this to Amazon Flirt and You’re Such a Sweet-Tart.
Radiance is My Middle Name is a bright teal color. As I mentioned, I’ve been wearing this all day and absolutely love it. I will compare this with Garden Teal Party, though it’s visibly brighter.
You Glare, I Glow is an electric shade of purple unlike any other by Gelish.

Blink Pink and You Glare, I Glow are my favorites. I’m Brighter Than You also looks great. I’m going to need another job for all the polishes on my wish list if you don’t stop swatching!

My bottle of you glare I glow is a lot lighter, and more of a neon shade with some magenta to it. Do you think it could be similar to what people experienced with carnival hangover, where the color is inconsistent, or I just got an “off” bottle. I still love the color, but it is much lighter and less blue than the one you swatched.
Actually, I’ve learned that the full size bottles are a completely different shade than the MINI version. It’s a brighter, more pink shade.

I just bought you glare i glow in the gelish mini today and mine is neon magenta?!? definitely not a true purple :( Its still a really gorgeous color but I really wanted the darker purple. Comparing my colour to your other swatches I would say it looks way more like tahiti hottie
That color is a completely different color in the full size bottle vs the MINI size :(
Yes I bought and used the mini and it is nothing like your swatch. Can you recommend another brand that has a similar purple to what you swatched?

I don’t really keep up with RNP colors, but you might check to see if the Morgan Taylor line has a matching color since they make a lot of the same colors as Gelish.

I just recently got my hands on a you glear I glow and had checked your post on the difference between the old and new bottles of gelish. Mine doesn’t have a yellow lot number under the bottom liable. However everything else looks similar to the bottles you show on that post. Are they all supposed to have the yellow numbers, do you think I got a fake?
Hi Andrea! I have been loving your site for the past couple weeks. I just started doing gel manicures, and have been purchasing items little by little. I LUV gelish but, I can not seem to find there polishes anywhere. I know that sally’s beauty supply sells the minis. I would like to know where I can purchase the full size bottles. Thank you!
