Gelish 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Collection – Limited Edition

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Gelish released a limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness collection with some gorgeous pinks.  I did a mani using all three colors, and also swatched each of the new colors.  The quality of this collection is much better than their last release (House of Gelish), which had lots of issues with wrinkling and curing.  These all went on very smoothly and only required two coats each.  The lighter two shades have a very slight shimmer, and the darkest shade is nice and creamy.  The names of the colors are Take Action, Make a Difference, and Less Talk.

Hi! I randomly followed a link on another blog to your blog here. Imagine my surprise when I find that you live in Cleveland too! You have some great manis on this blog :-)

Hi Kripa! Thanks for leaving a message. I live in Shaker Heights – what part of Cleveland are you in? So nice to meet a fellow nail polish-aholic from the same city ;) Your blog also has some great manis.

I live in University Heights. We are really close! I’ve been having lots of fun discovering all the different places to buy great polish :-)

That is really close! I tend to buy most of my polish online. I’m addicted to the Gelish brand and the best prices I found are on Amazon.com. I also like a lot of the indie polish makers and am starting to collect some of those. Let me know if you have any good local hot spots for buying polish. :)

Sure, I will! By the way, not to sound stalkerish but were you running by Fairmont and Green this afternoon? Granted, I’ve only seen that one profile picture of you but it does resemble the person I saw today. I noticed cause I was sitting at that light for a while on my way home…

LOL – nope, wasn’t me. I’ve been home working all day. My hair is much shorter now too – I really need to update that profile pic :)

    Hi!

I have read that these three colours fade. Is it true?

    • Andrea says:

I did notice that the lightest color changed a bit, but I didn’t notice it much with the darker two. I change my polish so often though that I may not have worn them long enough to tell. :)

Hi there, love your blog! Any suggestions for colors that are closest to the BCA line? I am in Canada and have trouble getting a hold of colors that are limited edition.
