Gel II Birthday Bash Limited Edition Collection

Gel II Birthday Bash Limited Edition Collection

In celebration of turning 3 years-old, Gel II has released a limited edition Birthday Bash collection!  The collection consists of three sparkly glitter gel polishes that can be worn on their own or used as toppers over other colors to add some extra glitz and glam!  The three glitter gels can be purchased as a set or individually.  Gel II is a professional brand and a license is required to purchase.  Click here to view the Birthday Bash Collection on the Gel II website.

Gel II is a two-step gel polish that doesn’t require a base coat.  All of the swatches below are two coats with no base color applied underneath.  You can use these glitters over various base colors or apply them over your favorite nail art for some added sparkle!

Extra Sprinkles is a holographic silver glitter topper.  It has holo silver microglitter as well as some larger hexes sprinkled throughout.

I’ve purchased Gel II from their website many times and I’m not a professional. Have they recently changed their sales policy?

    • Andrea says:

I believe they’ve always been pro-only. Their registration form requires a license number.

      • Beth says:

That’s weird because I’ve placed almost a dozen orders with them over the last couple of years and I’ve never been asked if I was a professional or if I had a license number. I’ve always received my orders quickly too.

        • Laura says:

They ask for a license number when you create an account on the website, but it’s not a required field so you can just leave it blank and proceed to checkout:)

Will you please let us know when you will be posting about you’re IBX treatment experience . I will be using it soon just want to know if the hype about it is true .

I have only used it sporadically. I’m not sure whether I’ll be writing about it or not. I might need to find a good test subject that I can try it on. I change my polish way too frequently to give it a fair test.
