DIY Hard Nails just released eight new gel polish colors, four creams and four color changers. Below are swatches of all of the new colors, and at the bottom of the post you’ll find information about a GIVEAWAY! Enter for a chance to win some of these awesome polishes.

The swatches below show three coats of each color.
Pink Lily is a light pastel pink cream.
Minty Fresh is a light minty green cream.
Nudist is a sheer neutral cream that builds up to opacity. This color would work well as a base for French manicures.
Smoky Air is a green-leaning grey cream.
Blue Bombay is a color changing gel that shifts from dark blue when warm, to a brown-leaning purple when cold.
Midnight Rose is a color changing gel polish that shifts from red when warm, to a dark blue-ish purple when cold.
Sand Stone is a color changing gel polish that shifts from light brown when warm, to burgundy red when cold.
Purple Rain is a color changing gel polish that shifts from magenta when warm, to a vibrant blue-leaning purple when cold. This is my personal favorite of the bunch!

I’ve never used a color changing polish, but wonder if they would ever even show up in the summer??? How cold does the ambient temp have to be for a color change? And if your nails are not super long, won’t your body temp keep the color “warm”? These are the questions that keep me up at night – lol!
They change a lot even in warm temperatures surprisingly. If your hands feel cool, the cold color shows. Your body temp isn’t enough to make them stay warm all the time.
