DIY Hard Nails Color Changing Gel Polish – Part 2

Are you ready for a few more color changing polishes?!  I have three more mood polishes from DIY Hard Nails. All of the DIY color changing polishes have a thick creamy formula, and they are loaded with glitter.  I really love the look of these, and they apply great.  You can see the two other polishes that I already swatched here.  Even with the temperatures being very warm right now, these colors shift quite a lot.

Classic Galaxy shifts from a bright blue when warm, to a deep purple when cold.

I love that these are color changing and have glitter! I’m going to be in the US soon, so I may have to order a couple! Do you happen to have Galaxy Twilight? I’m curious what that one looks like. Thanks for the pictures!

How well do these polishes come off? I bought some color changing polish off ebay once and they took 3 soakings to remove and still didn’t come off well. I threw it in the trash.

They do take longer than normal to soak-off, but you can use a base that you are familiar with that soaks off well which may help the process.

I’ve never done this before but am very interested in the coco cola float. Do you buy 2 colors and then the top glitter and then use it with a base and top coat?

    • Andrea says:

It’s all in one polish. The glitter is in the polish, and it changes colors with the temperature. You just need a base coat, color (coca cola float), and top coat.

I put on Coca Cola float for the 1st time tonight and in room temperature my nails are white, the only time you see brown at all is when I put them into cold water and once they dry off they are back to white. I’m disappointed because the pictures show it as ombré with the brown and it’s barley ever that way.
