Cuccio Swatches: Fountains of Versailles & Moscow Red Square
Fountains of Versailles is an absolutely gorgeous shimmery teal blue. This color just steals my breath away… I’m such a sucker for teals. Even with three coats there was a tiny bit of visible nail line in certain lights, but it’s not noticeable in the photos that I took. Love, love, love this color.
Moscow Red Square is a raspberry-leaning red with a subtle frosty shimmer. After looking at the previous swatch, the shimmer in this seems a little flat, but it’s very pretty in person. The shimmer seems to have some pinkish tones to it.
I also purchased the Cuccio base and top coats and tried them once. The top coat was decent, but I didn’t think there was anything special about it that made it stand out from the crowd. The base unfortunately didn’t hold for me, and I had lifting within two days.

Thanks for the review. The colors are also not all that unique. From the photos, they look very much like a couple of Gelish polishes that I have.
The teal looks very very similar to Gelish Oocha Coocha, which I was wearing recently and I had forgotten how nice it is. Love my teals too!!!!
Wow…I actually gasped in awe at Fountains of Versatile, just beautiful
I like the Cuccio top coat a lot, but I shake it really well in my Robart before I use it. Cuccios seem to like a lot of shaking.
I’ve just started exploring Cuccio polishes, and so far I’m really digging the creams I’ve tried: Grecian Sea, London Underground, Longing For Underground, Tel-Aviv About It, and Cheeky In Helsinki. They’re all two coaters for me. The only one I haven’t been that impressed with is Vegas Vixen, which is a glitter shimmer that’s too sheer by itself for me. It’s pretty but nothing special.
The prices are great with fun colors and names, so I’ll definitely be getting more. The only other thing I would say is most of the matching RNP polishes aren’t perfect matches, a couple aren’t even close. It’s fine for pedicures, but I wouldn’t use them for touch-ups.
Lovely nail colors but they look like other gel polishes out there. There is no special on them.

I have recently invested in some Cuccio and am very impressed with it. The colours I have are all cremes but have lovely consistency with no fading issues so far. The top coat is fantastic and is much tougher than the gelish TIO. I tend not to use the base coat though as the fuse layer makes it really stick and can be difficult to soak off.
Love your blog. Ive been using Cuccio gels for some time now. Yes they do need to be shaken. Their colors are highly pigmented and if you’re into stamping most stamp very nicely. :)
You are stamping with the RNP, correct? I’ve yet to find a gel polish that works well for stamping.
What is Cuccio like for removal? As some brands are really tough!!
I have no issues with Cuccio. The base doesn’t last on me, so I use it with ones that I know will stay on like Gelish.
I get my nails done every two weeks and i have used this brand and everytime i use it, my polish always lifts in a few days and peels right off…
